The 24 X 24 Earthing Grounding Mat is our largest sized mat that is ideal for sitting and meditation; It's recommended that you get as much skin contact as you can with the mat. Both women and men can wear bath robes to cover themselves if in a public setting or in private, wear as little as you want so you get the maximum contact area on the mat.
If you don't feel comfortable sitting without some kind of support for your back, you can also place the mat close to a wall or up on a couch with a pillow for your back and get more comfortable that way. You can also place the mat on a couch with it bent into the couch for comfortable sitting.
Simply plug the mat into an earthing grounding cable that is plugged into an adaptor for a wall outlet and sit and enjoy meditating, or enjoying music or other entertainment for a while; For best results, try to spend at least a minimum of 20 minutes a day making contact with the mat.
You can of course stand on the mat with bare feet too. Or sit in a comfortable chair and place your bare feet on it to get the same benefits of grounding as you would sitting on it. You can also do aerobic or other exercise while standing or sitting on this mat.
These mats have a very nice forest floor coloring pattern and are static disipative and conductive.
They can be cleaned just like any other carpeting and will last a lifetime if properly cared for.
These mats have a two port connection so you can cable other devices to them and you can also connect more than one mat together using shorter cables in a daisy chain. Since the plugs on the mats are connected all the way from plug to plug, there is no drop in performance for grounding other devices or mats. This makes it ideal for families or classes to use several mats in one area without having to send several cables to a wall outlet to get a ground.
These mats require an Earthing Grounding Cable and a Cable to Ground Plug (supplied with the mat) to get them grounded to a wall outlet. It's highly recommended that you test all wall outlets or power strips that are plugged in before connecting any device into them that is intended for earthing or grounding.
